May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My then husband (Richard Zelinka) and his mother (Sally Zelinka) and I spent many holidays - Thanksgiving and Passover - with Sam and June and their kids in the early 80's. I remember those times with fondness. Sam had a keen intellect and great sense of humor. He was a delight to be around.
In a way, I think of him daily as I view a painting he gave us as a wedding gift. My thoughts are with the family during this sad time.
