SEYMOUR MOSKOWITZ Obituary

MOSKOWITZ--Seymour. The City College of New York mourns the passing of its distinguished alumnus Seymour Moskowitz, Class of 1954. A noted engineer, researcher, developer, mentor and humanist, Mr. Moskowitz was also a generous and unequivocal supporter of his alma mater. He gave munificently to The City College, donating equipment, funding undergraduate scholarships in mechanical and biomedical engineering, as well as a doctoral fellowship in biomedical engineering. His unprecedented gift, with his wife Pearl, to CCNY's Master's in Translational Medicine (MTM) program had a profound impact on the success and growth of the groundbreaking program. Professionally, Mr. Moskowitz's specialties included counter terrorism and defense. He focused on and was highly successful in developing technological solutions to address critical national issues. The City College extends its sincerest condolences to Pearl and the Moskowitz family. Vince Boudreau, President
