Applauding Stanley right now for the life he lived and the lives he positively impacted. He helped move the Ailey organization forward with all of his heart, mind and soul. Seeing the Ailey documentary recently that included a flashback Board meeting that he led, reminded me of all the years he worked alongside Alvin Ailey, and what a steadfast pillar he was for the Company. His many contributions and his memory have and always will be a blessing. Sending love to all his family with heartfelt gratitude.

Our sincere condolences to Gloria and the rest of the Plesent family.
Stanley´s love for Alvin Ailey was special not only was he Chairman of the board for Ailey, he truly loved the dancers and company
He came in at the right time for Alvin to make the company and the school expand and invited more young choreographers works. and was one of the main components to make it possible to travel overseas
I was lucky to have a wonderful relationship with Stanley ,due to his love of Alvin and the company

My sincere condolences to Gloria and the rest of the Plesent family. Stanley´s love for Alvin Ailey was unquestionably an integral part of the bedrock that formed the foundation for the Company and the entire Ailey organization. I will miss his jovial presence in the theater, on various tours, and at our marvelous permanent home. Stanley always made each of us feel like family.
