FENTON--Stephen. The Digestive Disease Research Foundation community mourns the loss of our friend and Board member. Steve was one of the first writers I worked with when I joined (then) Benton & Bowles in NY, and one of the few with the temperment and patience to teach a newbie. Funny and irreverent, talented and almost always right, he was an enormous help to me in my new career. The friendship he and Jackie showed to me and Joanne during my NY period was a gift. We will always remember the "Come as you were" 40th birthday party and our times together in Maine. Jackie, our heartfelt condolences to you.

Man were we fish out of water, but Steve always made it fun.
