So sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Gail and Stephen - who everyone in our class at Spence felt were in some way their parents too. Always a big hug and a smile from Mr. Kittenplan that would make you feel his day was really better because he ran into you. He was a gentleman and a nice person, which is rarer than it should be in the world. Alexa

Steve & I met in September, 1952 as classmates in the Cornell Class of 1956. We remained close for 62 years and spoke regularly. He will be missed, but surely not forgotten!

He loved his popular music second only to his family. Tin Pan Alley's greatest booster!
And always a great friend to my parents.
Sending love and a few great melodies your way.

Dear Gail and family, Stephen was much more than someone I worked with for more than ten years, he was a caring, loving friend. He always had the greatest stories that kept us laughing. A brilliant man. He will be missed by many.
