STEVEN FEDER Obituary

FEDER--Steven.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on October 10 at 75 years of age after succumbing to the effects of Alzheimer's disease. Born in Brooklyn and raised on Hewes Street in the Williamsburg section, Steve was forever proud of his Brooklyn upbringing. He came from humble beginnings, but after graduating NYU, he worked hard to build a very successful career running the sales division at National Spinning Company, Inc. He was also an avid sports fan. As a young boy he rooted tirelessly for the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants and later the New York Mets. To know Steve was truly to love him. He radiated kindness, had a huge heart and left a lasting impression on anyone who he met. His loud, boisterous laugh filled a room and he was adored by his children and grandchildren. Steven Feder, Shepsel Chaim Ben Moshe Zalman, will be forever missed and remembered as a true gentleman both personally and professionally. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

I was so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. My heart goes out to his family including Russ, Glen and Stephie.
Steve was the Best Man at my wedding and a lifelong friend. I remember playing ball on Hewes street and football at the Parade grounds. We also shared the season tickets to the Giant's football game every season until I moved to Colorado. I also will remember the great time we had at the 87 Super Bowl with Steve and Russ. And, yes, the Giants won.
Steve's friendship was a big part of my life and he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend......Roy
