TEDD THOMAS

THOMAS--Tedd T. 89, of Upper Gwynedd, PA passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Loving husband of Rebecca Bown Thomas with whom he had recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Born January 12, 1935, in Shenandoah, PA, to the late Robert and Jennie (Surgoft) Thomas. As class president and valedictorian, Mr. Thomas graduated from J.W. Cooper High School Class of 1952. He continued his education at Princeton University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1956. Mr. Thomas was a successful executive in the cosmetic industry. He held the position of Managing Director of Revlon, United Kingdom, as well as senior positions in Giorgio of Beverly Hills, La Prairie, Charles of the Ritz and Prince Matchabelli. He was known as a charismatic leader who inspired greatness in others. He loved reading, especially Faulkner, Joyce, P.D. James and the New York Times. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing, stamp collecting and playing bridge. He was forever grateful for the opportunities in his life and was known as a constant source of strength and wisdom to his family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Allison (Diaa Sayad), Suzanne, Trevor, Spencer, Reed, and Dana (Nick Villani). Services will be private.
