I cannot Believe this sad news. Dr. Strozak was the best and respectful professor at New York City Technical College. He turned all chemistry haters into enthusiastic chemistry lovers. Everybody loved his class. I still remember his beautiful smile, gorgeous blue eyes, and caring character. I'm sure he will be missed by all his chemistry students. May he rest at peace.

When I think of Uncle Victor I think of several things. His hearty laugh. His warm presence. His ability to give great advice when needed. I remember him as smart, vibrant, and funny. He knew how to tell a good story. I think of him at Emerald Isle, where we all used to gather to relax and unwind.
He loved life, and he lived it to the fullest.
He was the yoga guru extraordinaire!
I love you, Uncle Victor, may you be at peace now.

Victor was unique, caring, a good listener, a great teacher, and so loved his family. Before & after yoga classes we often shared travels to Raleigh as our son lived & worked there the last few years, my going to CUNY classes, but we never crossed paths until I joined a Yoga class in Neptune. With his gentle voice & expert teaching he helped me to relax before my surgeries in NYC. We shall all miss him. May all the precious memories sustain you during these difficult times.

Dear Carolyn, I learned belatedly about Victor's passing and am so very saddened .I wish I could help to console you in some way. . We lost him so soon.Victor was an inspiration to everyone who knew him: always gentle, patient: a truly gifted yoga teacher. He taught me how to breathe. I pray you find comfort in knowing that he lives on in so many of us as we practice our postures and daily meditations. I will always hear Victor's peaceful guidance.

Vic was a passionate leader and at the same time incredibly compassionate and understanding. He had that unique combination of traits that made those who knew him love him dearly; many of us (science teachers & grad students) have said that he felt like a grandfather to us. Vic just emanated positivity and always encouraged us to push our work to the next level. He has inspired me personally to be a better person and teacher to my students. He will be incredibly missed. We love you Vic. Thank you for all you have given us.

Vic was one of only two people in my life I have known professionally, socially and, through our mutual love of yoga, spiritually. Joan commented tonight that he and I had more in common than anybody she knows. Vic and Carolyn happened to be with us on a norteastern US vacation when I received the news that my father was dying. His compassionate support helped me get back to New Jersey, and provides something to draw upon now. At Joan's request, I'm writing this for both of us. Vic is missed more than we can say, but we knew joy in his company.
