I just learned of Vivian Manns passing, I had her as an instructor in Art History at Wichita State University 1970, I still remember her as a beautiful, very knowledgeable spirit, who was so inspirational and moving, she was indeed, a special flower picked

I only recently learned of Vivian z"l's death. We were friends, and I admired her as a warm and engaging person as well as a consummate scholar and curator on behalf of the entire Jewish community. I will try to find a contact number for her Jerusalem family, whom I know. Barry and Debbie, if you are reading this, please know that my thoughts are with you.

It is with great sorrow that I learned today that Vivian Had passed away.
To her family I extend my heartfelt condolences.
We take for granted the kindness and grace of our friends only to realize upon loosing them what a void their absence creates in our lives Vivian was a good friend, a great scholar and I will miss her very much

I first met Dr Mann on the occasion of the exhibition "A Tale of Two Cities," and it was her charm and dedication that led me to donate family heirlooms to the Jewish Museum. She will be missed.
