VIVIAN TEICH Obituary

TEICH--Vivian.

At 8:15am, February 14th, 2015, our dear mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend, Vivian Teich (nee Schindler), passed away at home, peacefully in her sleep, after a nearly five year battle with ovarian cancer. Vivi was truly one of a kind, lighting up her family, her classrooms and theater stages with her radiant beauty, personality, humor and warmth. Throughout her life and brave battle, she inspired many to live life to the fullest, share love, and reach for the stars. She is survived by her husband Morton, her five children, Karina, David, Marko, Aaron and Aly, 11 grandchildren, and her sister Nicole. While our world is dimmer without her in it, the sky is now a little brighter with Vivi sparkling among the stars. Following a private burial in Long Island the family will hold a Memorial Service today, February 17, 2015, at 2pm at Frank E Campbell 1076 Madison Ave (81st St).

Dear Morty and Aly: I am so sorry I could not attend Vivian's memorial service. I really wanted to come.

Vivian was such a fighter and she loved and lived life to the fullest even in the darkest times. Her love for all you sustained her through the fight of her life.

I will always remember her sitting on her beloved horse Coogie as we walked through the tall grass in the fields on Vail Lane. We talked about life and love, places we'd visited and experiences we'd shared.

I hope you will all find comfort in your memories of her. Please take care of Coogie, she really adored him. Feel free to call me or stop by the farm anytime. Best wishes,

Petra Wiederhorn

To Vivi, our neighbor, we'll always remember our boat ride with you and Mort on Lake Mahopac, and the chats we had with you by the pool. In the worst of circumstances, you carried yourself with such courage and grace.

To Mort, our neighbor and Vivi's devoted husband, we know that so much of Vivi's strength came from your love and support. You are in our thoughts and prayers,

Ashley
