Alice Myhand Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Alice McIver Myhand, 68, of Opelika will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2006 at Community Church of Jesus No. 3. Elder Eddie Jackson will officiate. Mrs. Myhand passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006 at her home. She was born in Darlington, SC. Mrs. Myhand was a member of Community Church of Jesus No. 3 and retired from Quantegy, Inc., (formally Ampex) Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors include; three sons, Harold (Yumi) McIver, Tampa, FL, John Tullis (Judy) Myhand IV and Corneluis Myhand both of Society Hill, AL; five sisters, Josephine Williams, Darlington, SC; Nellie Parker, Philadelphia, PA; Harriet Patterson, New York, NY; Elizabeth Love and Pearl McIver both of Bronx, NY; two brothers, Nelson (Mattie Samuel and Jake (Anna) McIver both of Bronx, NY; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Norton, Society Hill, AL and Mary (Booker) Outland, Bridgeville, DE; three brothers-in-law, Carver (Pearlean) Myhand, Huntsville, AL, Julius S. (Emma) Myhand, Tuskegee and Willie S. Myhand, Society Hill, AL; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, a host of friends and all her neighbors.
