Graveside service for Curtis Lipscomb, 67, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Garden Hills Cemetery,1218 Fredrick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend George Rampey, Officiating and Minister Tamekia Buchanon, Eulogist.
Mr. Lipscomb, who passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, was born December 4, 1954 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, February 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
He leaves to cherish his memory: four daughters, Shwanda (Jimmy) Shallow of Birmingham, AL, LaShawn Dowdell, Tamekia Buchanon and Ar'Quanya Lipscomb all of Opelika, AL; seven grandchildren, Kendarious Scott, Jasmine Dowdell, Raven Tolbert, Kalise Culberton, Elijah Yancey all of Opelika, AL, Jacob Shallow and Ona Shallow both of Birmingham, AL; three brothers, Clanton Lipscomb, Lenell (Hattie) Harris and Larry Harris all of Opelika, AL; six sisters, Geraldine Lipscomb, Carolyn Johnson, Barbara Lipscomb, Joann Lipscomb, Jennifer Lipscomb-Thomas all of Opelika, AL and Diane Preston of Auburn, AL; one aunt, Gertrude Lipscomb of Brooklyn, NY; one uncle, Renza Wright, Sr. of Opelika, AL; four sisters-in-law, Vivian Harris, Shirley Harris and Minnie Harris all of Opelika, AL and Shirley Harris of Syracuse, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
