Funeral service for Helen Reese, 73, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Minister Dr. Frankie Bell will officiate, Reverend Stephen Faulk, Eulogist.
Mrs. Reese, who passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at her home in Opelika, AL, was born September 29, 1947 in Chambers County, Alabama.
Public viewing for Mrs. Reese will be Monday, May 31, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Kimberly Taylor (Kenny) of Opelika, AL; four granddaughters, Jessica (Cory) North, Constance Taylor (Nicholas), Jasmine Taylor (Lance) and Katelyn McClendon; two grandsons, Brandon Taylor and Ladarryin Holloway; eight great-grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Blake Johnson, Akiya Taylor, Jacye Wright, Ivoree North, Jayden Patten, Braylon Holloway, and Mahogany Taylor; two special friends, Catherine Torbert and Cherry Pennyamon, both of Opelika, AL; two goddaughters, Doletha Heard and Terri Lynn Slaughter both of Opelika, AL; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace beautiful lady. I have yet to meet such a loving and sweet spirited lady as you! I will miss conversing with you, but most of all, I will miss your infectious smile.
