PETER "CHICKIE" AZZARANO A memorial service for Peter "Chickie" Azzarano, 75, of Auburn is 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Auburn. Monsignor William Skoneki is officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 9-10 a.m. one hour prior to the service at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mr. Azzarano was born September 29, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. He passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at East Alabama Medical Center. He had been a resident of Auburn for the past six years following his move from the Philadelphia area. He was retired from the Amorosso Baking Company where he served for 35 years as Sales Manager. Locally,he was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church of Auburn and served with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Mr. Azzarano was an avid golfer and member of the Moore's Mill Men's Golf Club. He loved to cook and bake for his family as well as playing cards with the guys. He is survived by his wife, Elaine S. Azzarano of Auburn; two daughters, Kathleen Reynolds of Cherry Hill, NJ, Lisa Stanton of Prospect Park, PA; son, Michael Azzarano of Philadelphia, PA; grandchidlren, Ashley Stanton, Trevor Reynolds and Lexi Reynolds; brother, Ronald Azzarano of Philadelphia, PA, and sister, Judy Pezzella of Vineland, NJ.
