Tyrone Palmer

Funeral service for Mr. Tyrone Palmer, 45, will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Peterson and Williams Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Henry McGruder will officiate. Mask are required.

Mr. Palmer, formally of Opelika, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Charleston, SC. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, from 2-6 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Davidna Palmer; a daughter, Jocelyn Rossington; and a son, Bishop Rossington all of Summerville, SC; his siblings, Victor (Lillie Ann) Palmer Sr., Patsy Palmer and Antonio Palmer all of Opelika, AL; a niece, Victoria (Cameron) Palmer; a nephew, Victor Palmer Jr.; three aunts, Annie Jean Gunn, Annie Florence Gunn and Diane Ambus all of Opelika, AL; two uncles, Otis (Barbara) Lockhart of Beauregard, AL and Robert Lewis (Nancy) Lockhart of Salem, AL; special friends, Sharmain Brooks, Thomas Frisby, Samwell Block, Brian Crawford and Vivian Sims; many other relatives and friends.

Tyrone was a wonderful human being, his personality and infectious laugh made you love him from the minute you met him. I´m honored to have known and worked with him. I´m so sorry for your loss, he was a great guy and will be sorely missed.
