Carlos Dailey Obituary

ODESSA Carlos William Dailey, 17, of Odessa, was called to Heaven on June 14, 2014, in Odessa. Carlos was born to Cristy Sarceda and the late Terrance Dailey in Grants, NM, on June 27, 1996.
Carlos was a very quiet and respectful person. He always had a big smile. Carlos loved all sorts of electronics, especially his cell phone. He hated confrontations and never talked bad about anyone. He trusted everyone and saw everyone as his friend. He loved his family and adored his brothers. Carlos also considered his friends as family. His cousins and nephews thought he was super smart and always asked for his help with homework.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents: Cristy Sarceda and Ifrain Olivas of Odessa; paternal grandfather: Richard Dailey and wife Beverly; paternal grandmother: Beverly Anaya of Laguna, NM; paternal grandmother: Linda Olivas of Odessa; paternal great-grandparents: Mary Jean and Robert Anaya of Laguna, NM; paternal great-grandmother: Sylvia Baca of Albuquerque, NM; maternal grandparents: Chris and Juanita Sarceda of Grants, NM; sister: Terry Ann Dailey of Laguna, NM; brothers: Anthony Miller, Ethan Olivas and Aaron Olivas, all of Odessa; uncles: Joseph Sarceda and wife Abigail of NM, Michael Sarceda and wife Danielle of Silver City, NM, Richard Olivas and wife Jessica of Odessa, and Geno Olivas and wife Edith of Odessa; and aunt: Michelle Olivas of Odessa.
Carlos was preceded in death by his dad: Terrance Dailey, his paternal grandfather: Efrain Olivas, great-grandfather: Fernandez Baca, and his great-grandmother: "Nana" Estefanita Salazar, paternal great-grandparents: Robert and Mary Dailey.
A rosary will be recited at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Friday, June 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Father Michael Rodriquez. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Section of Ector County Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd., Odessa.
