Elva Davidson Obituary
Jody loved to work in her yard, taking care of her roses, and mowing her own lawn even up to this last summer. She lost her parents at a young age and was a strong woman with a deep faith and a tender heart. Jody married Carl T. Davidson and they were happily married for 59 years. She was truly a homemaker, whose life was taking care of her husband, home and children. She was a self taught seamstress, crocheted and made beautiful blankets for her children and grandchildren. An awesome cook, Jody made the best red velvet cake and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She had a sharp mind and loved politics, music and dancing.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her son: Dave Davidson and wife Cindy of Odessa; three daughters: Renee Hollander and husband Mal of Possum Kingdom, Deedee White and husband Steve of Saugus, CA, and Lisa Summers and husband Chuck of Castaic, CA; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Glenn and Elva Little; her husband: Carl T. Davidson; and two sisters: Patti Nell Feeler and Billye Ruth Vaughn.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 12, 2016 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by David Newton. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West and condolences to the family may be sent online at acreswestfuneral.com.

I grieve with you all at hearing the news of one of my favorite aunts passing.I have such fond memories of her and Carl.
