Graciela Vargas Obituary

ODESSA - Graciela Fuentes Vargas, age 62, of Odessa, passed from this life on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Odessa Regional Medical Center. She was born in Pecos, TX on Saturday, August 21, 1954 to Pedro and Fidela (Ramirez) Fuentes.

Graciela was a homemaker. She was a strong, loving and caring grandmother and mother, who went out of her way to help everyone. She will always be remembered and will live on in our hearts.

Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband: Jose Vargas; parents: Pedro and Fidela Fuentes; daughters: Anna Escobedo and Vanessa Vargas; six sons: Anthony Fuentes, Joe Vargas, Jaime Vargas, Ruben Vargas, Leo Vargas, and Rylind Vargas; brother: Arturo Fuentes; three sisters: Irma Ramirez, Sandra Hernandez, and Susan Fuentes Wilson; and nineteen grandchildren, all of Odessa.

Rosary will be recited at Acres West Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, officiated by Father Fernando Bonilla. Interment follows at Odessa II Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and condolences to the family may be sent online at acreswestfuneral.com.
