Isabel Garza Obituary
Isabel was born in Raymondville, TX on April 11, 1929. She graduated with an Associates from Odessa College. Isabel was married to Raul M. Garza in February 1955. They were married 26 years before he passed.
Isabel worked as a director and teacher for Head Start for 15 yrs. She enjoyed reading, and gardening. She was actively involved in elections serving as head judge in her precinct and also serve as President of The Legend of Mary for St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Isabel was preceded in death by her husband Raul M. Garza, her parents Domingo and Maria Villalobos, two sister Nena Rodriguez and Lela Cavazos, and two brothers Federico and Joe Villalobos.
Isabel is survived by her three children Raul Garza, Jr. and wife Maria L.; Daniel Garza; and Sylvia A. Garcia and husband Roy Garcia, Jr.; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. on August 10th at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday, August 11th at 10:00 am with Father Benardito Geitian officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family of Isabel V. Garza wishes to Thank Hospice, all the nurses and staff at Medical Center Hospital and Legacy Ranch for all their care and love in attending to our mother and us while under their care.
