GRANBURY - Larry Joe Stringer, age 66, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend left this earth to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born September 30, 1955, in Odessa, TX. He graduated from Odessa High School class of 1974, and attended college at University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated class of 1978 with a bachelor's degree of Pharmacy. In 2010 he married Shawna Palmour. He dedicated his life's work as a pharmacist, and owner and operator of Nelson Pharmacy in the Odessa community. Larry's greatest pleasure in life was his kids and most recently his 3 grandchildren. His strength and wisdom have touched the lives of many. He is preceded in death by his father (Joe), mother (Wanda), brother (Ronnie), and sister (Donna). His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his loving wife Shawna, devoted children; son Richard (Ashley), daughter Ashlea (Adam), son Jayden and daughter Jaylea, as well as stepdaughter Sabrina and stepson Jacob, and three grandchildren Hunter, Berkley, and Harlow. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. 6801 E. Business 20 Odessa, TX 79762. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
