Michael Agee Obituary
Mike was born and raised in Big Spring, Tx, where he enjoyed playing baseball and football, and hunting and fishing with his brothers. Mike was a family man who enjoyed his wife of eighteen years, Deborah, and their three daughters. He worked diligently to provide a good home and sense of security.
Professionally, Mike established a rewarding, successful career in technical engineering. Personally, he was always ready to lend a hand for causes he felt passionate about, including: West Texas Gifts of Hope, Down Syndrome Association, American Legion, and Asbury Methodist Men's Group.
After his retirement, Mike and Lanelle enjoyed dancing, traveling, golfing, participating in activities at their church, and spending time with friends and grandkids. He loved music, and a good John Wayne movie.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Lillie Jones; his parents, S.W. Agee and Mildred Agee Dillard; his daughter, Elizabeth Agee; son-in-law, Patrick Melugin; and wives, Carolyn Agee and Joy Agee.
He is survived by his wife, Lanelle Agee; his daughters, Jennifer Melugin and Renee (Henryk) Wolczynski; four siblings, Sharon Morrow, David (Linda) Agee, Karen Dopita, and Patrick (Linda) Agee; seven grandchildren, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church in Odessa, Tx. on October 14th, at 11am.
