Michael Moore Obituary
He was born September 10, 1955, to Jack M. and Dorothy Moore (nee Wood)
He was a Vietnam Era Veteran, serving in the United States Navy on board the nuclear submarine USS Daniel Webster (SSBN-626) as a Nuclear Qualified Electrician. He was an adventurous spirit, traveling from one side of the United States to the other and everywhere in between over the last 30 years. There was nothing he liked better than to see new places and experience new things.
He leaves behind his children, Eva Marie Boucher (spouse Russell Boucher), Jennifer E. Moore, Michael A. Moore Jr., Clara M. Moore, Katie J. Moore; his grandson, Nathaneal R. Moore–Washington; his brother, David J. Moore (spouse Elizabeth Moore); nephew, Jim Moore; niece, Dorothy Moore; his sister, Elaine Baker; nephew, Randy Spraberry; niece, Stephanie Long; grandniece, Ashton Long; and the many numerous friends he made on his journeys.
His time with us here was too short, but having faith in God includes having faith in His timing. We will all be together again in God's time.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Spur Memorial Cemetery at 2pm in Spur, TX. A reception will be held immediately following services at First United Methodist Church in Spur, TX. Under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home of Spur, TX.

My very heartfelt condolences go to Mike's children. May you find comfort in the good time memories and the Holy Spirit.
I had the pleasure to work with Mike at Saulsbury where he would brighten my day. Also had a brief personal encounter with him and he was a blast. Always joyful, fun and happy.
Remember the good times, don't harbor regrets as he wouldn't want that, and most of all give thanks that you had him in your life.

My Uncle Mikey, your departure is bittersweet. I know your quest for happiness lead you on many adventures and now you gone home to be happy with our loved ones. Till I see you again, I will keep you in my heart and memory-riding in The Bomb, riding in the bumpy old orange cart, riding on those big safe shoulders, riding the Honda motorcycle to town for Chips Ahoy cookies or holding pet skunks Kirby/Kent. Wow the adventure and memories. Love and prayers.
