Patti Geraldine Bishop

1958 - 2023

GRAND PRAIRIE - Patti Geraldine Bishop aka Patti Briggs Bishop, 65 years young passed away on April 19th, 2023. She hailed from Oklahoma and resided in Grand Prairie TX for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Randall Bishop, mother Gerri Briggs and her brothers John and Jay Briggs.

She was a mother of 2 Brandi Jean Pelkie (Leroy Pelkie) and Anthony Dale Bishop (Amanda Bishop), a grandmother to 7 grand children, Darby Stanley, Brice Breshears, Aiden Pelkie, Carter Pelkie, Riley Pelkie, Axel Bishop and Asher Bishop and a great grandmother to Raelynn and Cooper McGee.

Patti is preceded in death by her father John Frank Briggs and her sister Beverly Worthington.

She loved her family more than herself.

Her actions spoke louder than her words. Was always one to root for the under dog. Her favorite color was purple, and her favorite flower was Daisy's. She enjoyed being at the lake and having a cold beer. That's when she smiled the most was with family and friends as she knew she was making great memories that would last a lifetime. She was a nurturing woman and a dedicated wife, Loving mother, and trustworthy friend. Patti loved music and could relate with many songs.

Her hands made many meals that fed our mouths when we were hungry.

She was a servant to the lord and his word as well as she served others with her kindness.

When we look at the sky we will think of you, your eyes were as blue as it was.

You will be missed and never forgotten.
