Rose McMasters Obituary
Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Rose was born in Knightdale, North Carolina to Stanley Eddie Dickerson and Marian Anna Lucas on May 27, 1948. She married Bobby McMasters on July 19, 1977 in Midland, Texas. She received her CNA certification in the mid-1980s. Rose was an avid bowler and love to travel and camping out. She was a very loving and nurturing mother and memaw. She will be missed dearly as she touched and brightened the lives of so many.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Marian Dickerson and her beloved loving husband, Bobby McMasters.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Lisa Foster and her husband Tim, Lori Ross and her fiancé, Dennis Cochran; sons, George Boon, Bobby McMasters and his wife Heather; brothers, Robert Dickerson and his wife Suzanne, Steven Ashton and his wife Sonya, Dickie Dickerson and his wife Jena; sister, Priscilla McCarty and her husband George; grandsons, Jeremy, Brandon, Austin, JR and Raymond McMasters and his wife Melissa; granddaughters, Bryanna, Breanna, Kalie and Kaylee; niece, Roberta Branch and her husband Kenny. As well as many other beloved nieces and nephews.
The McMasters family would like to take this time to express their sincere gratitude for all of the prayers, food and offerings to help during this most difficult time. A very special thank you to Madison Medical Resort for the amazing and loving care she received from each and everyone that loved her, cherished her and spoiled her daily.
A very special thank you to Dr. J. Naidu, Dr. Raja Naidu, Dr. Ortega and Star from home hospice.
