ODESSA - Tommy Dean Stanford, 71 years old, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 10, 2021 in Odessa, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with David Newton of Crossroads Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Tommy Dean Stanford was born in Madill, Oklahoma, to Ernest J. Stanford and Ovella Azlee Teal on June 26, 1949. He went to Permian High School at Odessa, Texas. He married Patti Swanson Woods on June 23, 2007 in Odessa, Texas. They were together for 23 years. He worked as IT Director and Computer Analyst of Flint Hills Corporation, formerly Huntsman Corporation, Rexene, El Paso Products for 35 years where he retired. The past 12 years Tom worked as IT and phone systems Coordinator at Two Rivers Pipeline. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy and was awarded Navy/Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, 2 Good Conduct Awards, and National Defense Service Award. Tom is preceded in death by parents Ernest J. Stanford, Ovella Stanford, Brother Ernest D. Stanford, Sister Elsie Doverspike and Nephew Ricky Doverspike, Son-In-Law David Bozworth, and Mother-In-Law Shirley Swanson.Tom is survived by wife Patti Stanford, Children Shayne Stanford (Jarree) of Enid, Oklahoma, Felicia Stanford Bozworth of Faimont, Oklahoma, Tina Stanford Stelling (Don) of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Bobby Woods, Krystel Woods, Michelle Woods (Brian Sosa) of Odessa, Texas. Brother Hollis Stanford, Sister Reathea Stanford Alexander. Father-In-Law Bob Swanson (Janet). Grandchildren, Cody Frazier, Colby Frazier, Brianna Woods (Adam Chilson), Frankie Lopez, Aspen Woods, Mackenzie Woods, Cloe' Venegas, Kimber Woods, Carter Stanford, Jameson Stanford. Great-Grandson Jay Woods. "Ex Husband-In-Law" Larry Woods. Nephews Mark Doverspike (Glenda), Randy Doverspike (Debbie), Steven Doverspike (Donna), Niece Resa Phillips. Pallbearers will be Bobby Woods, Kevin Allison, Chad Doverspike, Adam Chilson, Chris Cronk, Mauro Rodriquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Swanson, Tommy Cronk, Mark Doverspike, Larry Woods.
