Charles Anderson Obituary

Charles David Anderson, 71, of Carmichaels, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2025. He was born on January 24, 1954, in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late Donald and JoAnn Wozniak Anderson. Charles was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School. He went on to join the military, where he proudly served in the United States Navy. Charles worked as a coal miner for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed bass fishing, and was a member of B.A.S.S. USA. He was also a member of the Cumberland American Legion Post 400 and the Carmichaels VFW Post 3491. He is survived by his sons, Steven A. Anderson of Carmichaels, and Jason C. Anderson (Jen) of Viburnum, Mo.; grandchildren, Johnathan, Morgan, Jayden, Billy, Travis, Quintin, and Jason, Jr.; two great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Joe Anderson; and sister, Charlene. His dogs, Kiro Valor and Puppers, and Steve's dog, Dick, will surely miss his companionship. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Anderson-Pauley. All arrangements are private.
