David P. Gardner, 63, of Washington, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, due to an ongoing heart condition.
Born on September 18, 1959, he was the son of the late Ellen and Howard Gardner, Sr.
Beloved husband of Linda Gardner for 41 years. Loving father of Megan (Ben) Rhoades and Natalie (Matthew) Florian. Cherished Pappy of Emma and Lucas Florian. Loving brother of Cathy (Bill) Huckestein and Howard (Sheila) Gardner, Jr, and uncle of Brandon (Megan) Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda (surviving, Dennis) Ross.
David will also be dearly missed by his dogs, Charlie, Buck and Max.
David loved his RV and his truck, and enjoyed camping and boating. He enjoyed trains and made billboards for Retro Lionel train tracks. David was an animal lover and cherished the time he spent with his pets and family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society or ASPCA.
