Donald J. Pidanich

Donald J. Pidanich, 70, of Perryopolis, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, in his home. Born September 25, 1954, in Canonsburg, he grew up in Newell and was a son of the late Frank and Eleanor Bartolomucci Pidanich. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 38 years, Mr. Pidanich was the owner of Pidanich Financial, and served as the elected tax collector for Perry Township for years. He was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Moose International, and SNPJ Lodge #729. Donnie enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, and traveling with his wife and friends. His laugh was contagious. He is survived by his wife, Donna Skufca Pidanich, to whom he was married to for 38 years; sister, Sandy Fordian; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy Petrosky and Tom Salsbury, Denise and Frank Flower, Marcia and Mike Kelly; nine nieces and nephews, Becky (JJ) Barrett, Nicholas (Tiffany) Flower, Michael (Alexis) Petrosky, Frank Pidanich, Emily (Jason) Fartini, Jennifer (Trevor) Hartzog, Claire (Alex) Horn, Alison Kelly, Hope Kelly; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Pidanich.
