Edgar Frazier, 89, of Washington, passed peacefully, in his home, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, following a long illness.
Edgar was a resident of Washington-Greene Alternative Residential Services since 1987. During his time at WGARS he touched many lives, always greeting anyone he met with a smile and a twinkle in his eye.
Edgar enjoyed being with a group of people and made friends wherever he went. Anytime he was out in the community someone would come up and say, "Hi Edgar!" and he would leave with a smile on his face. He loved the attention.
Edgar loved being a part of the community and was even a member of the Amity Volunteer Fire Department many years ago. He also enjoyed coloring, puzzles, crafts, dominoes, gardening, music of all kinds, feeding the ducks at the cemetery, and watching the Steelers and the Pirates. Edgar especially loved practical jokes, whether he was giving or receiving.
Edgar had a strong faith in God and heaven and believed that he would see both when he left this world. It's certain that he is in heaven now rejoicing with all his friends and family who have gone before him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; uncles; and aunts.
Surviving are cousins, Elaine, Roz, Sharmayne, Angela, Charity, Jonathan, Stephen; and his many friends and family at WGARS.
Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, October 31, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A service will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be private.

Edgar was a sweet, sweet man! We loved him and enjoyed him so much! He would always bring my son a car or something little to church every Sunday when he was young. Many nice memories of he and the other guys from WGARS! We were some of the folks who would see him out and say hi!
Rest In Peace! Love your church family from LTM Presbyterian in Amity!
