Eileen English Obituary

Eileen English 82 of Gilbertsville, formally of Marianna, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Marianna, Pennsylvania on February 21, 1943 a daughter of the late Joseph Barcosky and Helen Goodwin Barcosky. Eileen was a 1961 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School and was employed by Friends Boarding Home, Newtown Pennsylvania as a cook for several years. On April 25, 1965 she married the love of her life Ronald English who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ronald J and Greg W (Danielle) of Gilbertsville; two grandsons, Jacob and Justin; and brothers, Joseph Barcosky (Ann) of Georgia, William Barcosky (Rose) of Virginia; sister-in-laws, Marlene Ottena of Meadowlands, and Candy Temas (John) of Millsboro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Larry and wife Mary Ann Barcosky and mother and father in-law Floyd and Mildred English. A celebration of Life will be held in Gilbertsville at a later date.
