Fanny Purdy Obituary

Fanny Patricia "Patty" Harris Purdy passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, in her home in Kennesaw, Ga., at the age of 85, after a long, hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer.

Patty was born September 27, 1938, in Erbacon, W.Va., a daughter of Guy William Harris and Lillian Mae Salisbury.

She was a hard-working mom and raised her four children in Washington. Patty loved family, baking, craftwork and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She traveled far and wide to see and be with her family, including trips to Hawaii and South Korea, and always loved shopping with her daughter and granddaughters. Every holiday her family could always count on a variety of sweets for the table.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Guy Harris, Shirley Ullom and Pamela Beard.

She is survived by her sister, Anne Malone; children, Michael Janflone, Richard Janflone (Peggy Janflone), Rebecca Webber (Michael Webber), and Christopher Janflone (Kimberly Janflone); as well eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

Lovingly known as Mom, Ma, Grandma, Nana, GP and Grandma Grandma, Patty will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
