Fred Dingle Obituary

Fred Eugene Dingle, 53, a lifelong resident of Dilliner, died unexpectedly Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home. Born in Morgantown, W.Va. on September 23, 1970, he was a son of the late Eugene and Mary Louise Dusenberry Dingle. A 1988 graduate of Mapletown High School, Fred had formerly worked at PennDOT and as a draftsman for Tamko Engineering in Monongahela. He enjoyed nature and wildlife, and looking after the animals, especially his beloved cats. He is survived by his sister, Kimberly L. Sullivan and her husband, Thomas of Bar Nunn, Wyoming; one niece, Marissa Dawn Lemley of Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to join his family for a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, in the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Dilliner, with his pastor, Reverend Kenneth Haines officiating. Interment in Wolf's Cemetery, Dilliner, will be immediately after the service, followed by a reception in the church social hall. www.herod-rishel.com
