Jeffrey Spriggs Obituary

Jeffrey Alan Spriggs, 73, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Tuesday, May 6, 2025. On September 2, 1977, he married his wife, Janet C. Spriggs, who survives. He was her gift from God after praying for a husband who loved the Lord. He is survived also by his devoted son, Jeffrey Lucian Spriggs, who shared his father's love for his God and music. Jeff was a son of the late Charles H. Spriggs, Sr. and Julia Sewock Spriggs. He and his late brother, Charles H. "Chaz" Spriggs Jr., husband of Jill Stanley Spriggs, serviced the Washington and surrounding musical communities with the family business, Sprigg's House of Music, on West Chestnut Street. A child prodigy in music, he memorized Mozart at the age of four, taught by his grandmother, a concert pianist. He continued a musical study that included the 5-manual organ. Jeff was also a pianist, organist and keyboardist, who mastered every genre of music and arranged as well. His love of God and music included positions at Library Baptist Church, Peters Creek Baptist, and his final church home at Trinity Bible Fellowship. An employee of Toshiba Business Systems in remote support, Jeff loved his work and was a dedicated employee. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Scott Clark, with whom he lived, and Danny Clark, S.C. (wife Terri); and beloved cousin, Betty Russo. There will be no visitation at the request of the deceased. A memorial service, to be announced at a future date, will be held at Trinity Bible Fellowship, 1350 Park Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, under the direction of Pastor Michael Roach. Memorial contributions may be sent to the church, in lieu of flowers. John 3:16 Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, owner / supervisor, Holly Renay Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com

Privileged to have had some amazing conversations with Jeff at work.....and they were rarely "work" related. Very blessed to have Jeff share his knowledge and wisdom with me over the years. Truly a man of faith!
