Babe, we have been friends since we were 5. We grew up roaming 10 mile creek and the surrounding hills. We hunted and fished together here and in Warren County at your dad´s cabin. You and Monk help me drag out my first buck. A couple of years later we all sat in the cabin and listened on the radio because there was no television as Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. We went to high school and played football together while making new friends. We managed to do some really stupid things together and thank God we had some really good guardian angels. After high school we went out separate ways but always remained friends. I´m so thankful that we got back together after we finished our careers. We still had our arguments and disagreements but always sit and share a beer afterwards.
So my friend, go rest high on that mountain. You´ve earned it. Thank you for always being my friend and having my back.
