Jolene "JoJo" Michelle Anderson, 27, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 26, 2021.
She was born April 14, 1994, in Washington, the daughter of Carla Ann Efaw Swoger, of Covington, Ga., and the late Tommy James Abna, and stepfather, the late Michael Douglas Anderson.
Jolene attended Trinity High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant, at Townview Heath & Rehabilitation Center. She loved her job and was very dedicated to her patients.
She was a loving, caring angel, walking this earth, touching everyone she met. She will be truly missed and never forgotten.
Jolene enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming, traveling, getting her nails done, and spending time on her porch. She also loved spending time with her fur babies, Nipsey and Nelly, her cats, and Pitbull, Amore.
She leaves behind a fiance, Brian Alan Still, Jr., with whom she shared her home; siblings, Haeleah Brooke Anderson, of Washington, Charles Abna, of Stockbridge, Ga., Jeremy Anderson, of Forest Park, Ga., Charles Shayne Swoger, of Pittsburgh, and Jennifer Abna, of Griffin, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Joanne T. Angott, of Washington; nephew, Angelo Ali Le-Mon; niece, Catalina Rain Markovitz; cousins, Megan, Zachary, Curt, Ron, and Bobby Efaw; aunt and uncle, Arlene and Curt Efaw, of Lone Pine; future in-laws, Isabelle Mooney and Brian Still, Sr., of Washington; future brother-in-law, Jordan (Madison Susko) Mooney, of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
In addition to her father and stepfather, Jolene was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bill Efaw; paternal grandmother, Tommie Lee Abna; and brother-in-law, Joseph Mooney.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, October 4, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Home.
Interment to follow in Oak Spring Cemetery.
