Joyce Gallo Tuttle Babirad

Joyce Gallo Tuttle Babirad, 66, of Scenery Hill, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
She was born May 17, 1951, in Washington, a daughter of the late John and Martha Campbell Gallo.
She was employed at Tradesmen's Inn as a bartender.
Mrs. Babirad enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and doing yard work. She also enjoyed the casino and eating crab legs. Mrs. Babirad's favorite holiday was Christmas, when she enjoyed making her famous nut roll cookies and hosting a large dinner for her family.
She was always there when needed and willing to help in any way she could. You never got a "no" or complaint from her. She lived life to the fullest and never gave up. She fought to the very end.
Mrs. Babirad loved her Jack Russell terrier, Sparky, and her golden retriever, Goldie.
Her husband, Richard Babirad, who took great care of her and helped her fight this horrible disease, survives.
Also surviving are her children, Janet (John) Nahar of Perryopolis, Charles (Brandy) Tuttle of Wind Ridge, Susan (Troy) Taylor of Jefferson, Colleen (James) Gorby of Charleroi and Ricardo (Taryn) Babirad of Eighty Four; 13 grandchildren, Johnny, Teaha, Kirsten, Kevin, Katelynn, Kloe, Travis, Jessica, Colton, Bella, Angie, Rico and Olivia; six great-grandchildren Abby, Jacob, Aubrey, Rylee, Emalee and Zoe; four siblings, George (Kay) Gallo of Marianna, Vyonia Wilk of Washington, Robert Gallo of Michigan and Alma Jackson of Amity; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are seven siblings, Evelyn Harps and Charles, Tommy, Alvin, Elsworth, Chauncey and Frank Sr. Gallo.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, September 4, in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
