Kathleen Tornabene Obituary

Kathleen "Kathy" Tornabene, 66, of McMurray, died Monday, February 20, 2017, following a brief battle with cancer.
She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Alonzo Tornabene; dear sister of Judy (David) Deer; and sister-in-law of William (Lola) Tornabene, Delilah (Charles) Meacci and Rosanna Tornabene. Many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.
Mrs. Tornabene was a daughter of the late Dale and Mildred Williamson.
She was an executive secretary for U.S. Steel from 1969 to 1992, Washington Steel from 1992 to 2002 and Andritz Bricmont from 2002 until her retirement in 2015.
Mrs. Tornabene was appointed to the board of Hickory Telephone in 1993. She was elected president in 1995 and served as president and chairman of the board from 2002 until the time of her death.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, in Peace Lutheran Church, 107 Carol Drive, McMurray, PA 15317.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Peace Lutheran Church.

Lonnie, no words can describe how sad I was to read of Kathy's death. God certainly gained another beautiful angel. My sincere sympathy to you and the families.
