Marlene McFeely Obituary

Marlene M. McFeely, 84, of Bentleyville, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the Residence at Hilltop. Marlene was born July 28, 1940, in Ellsworth, a daughter of the late Marino and Pauline Smith Gavazzi. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and obtained her beautician license. For 60 years she was a self-employed beautician at her shop in Bentleyville, Marlene's Beauty Shop, and finally retired at the age of 80. She was Catholic by faith, and enjoyed gardening as well as traveling. Aruba was her favorite destination of all. She was passionate about her business, taking care of her home, and especially taking care of all of her beloved cats. Surviving are her son, Michael Beck (Tracie) of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren, Christina and David; nephew and niece, Bob Gavazzi (Kathy) of Fallowfield Township, and Beth Sturchak (Dan) of Ellsworth; and sister-in-law, Pat Gavazzi of Bentleyville. Preceding her in death were her husband, Donald McFeely, who passed away November 21, 2020; and three brothers Robert, Raymond, and Richard Gavazzi. At Marlene's request, all funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville. Interment and the rite of committal will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A guest book is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com
