"Together Again"

Gloria P. (nee Jones) McFeely, 88, of Wickliffe, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at U.H. Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born Aug. 26, 1937 in Cleveland, Gloria lived in Mentor for many years before moving to Prosper Senior Living in Wickliffe 5 years ago.

Gloria was a woman whose warmth, generosity, and effervescent spirit delighted everyone she met. For many years, she served her community as a librarian at the Mentor Library.

Deeply involved in her faith community, Gloria helped establish the bell choir at Shoregate Methodist Church, blending her organizational gifts with her joy for music and fellowship.

Above all, Gloria was a loving and devoted mother who delighted in encouraging her sons' interests and adventures. She proudly supported her son Michael's flight training, even accompanying him on a memorable journey in a two-seat Cessna 150 to Catalina Island, California, in 1988-a testament to her adventurous spirit and unwavering trust. She also thoughtfully arranged for her son Tom to attend Boy Scout camp in Maryland one summer, where he was able to spend time with his uncle, a Ranger at the camp, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Gloria was the loving mother of Michael McFeely and Tom (Naomi) McFeely; cherished grandmother of Ryan (Sarah) McFeely and Katrina McFeely; devoted great-grandmother of Gretchen, Brooke, Addy, Holly, Lily and Emma; and sister-in-law of Jerry (Lynn) McFeely.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald McFeely, whom she married in 1956; and her parents, Harvey and Opal (nee Scranton) Jones.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., with a short Funeral Service at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21 at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Rev. James Zinkowich to officiate. Burial to take place 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
