Michael Lukan Obituary
He was born November 29, 1991, in Pittsburgh, a son of Michael Lukan of Rochester and Louise T. Judge Lukan of Carnegie.
Mr. Lukan was a graduate of Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School and a junior at California University of Pennsylvania.
He was an infantryman in the U.S. Army National Guard Co. B, 1st Battalion, 110th Infantry, Waynesburg.
Mr. Lukan enjoyed riding motorcycles and time spent with his "brother," Brenon Camp. He was a body builder and finished ninth in the 2014 Mr. Pittsburgh competition.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Ashley A. Lukan of Green Tree; maternal grandparents Newell and Beverly Judge of Carnegie; a special cousin, Charlie Judge of Carnegie; five aunts and uncles, Eugene (Mary) Lukan of North Carolina, Raymond (Dolores) Lukan of McDonald, Ronald (Sue) Lukan of Midway, Nelson Judge of Carnegie and Mary (Dino) Galiotos of Westerville, Ohio; and several cousins.
Deceased are his paternal grandparents, Peter and Veronica Lukan, and uncle Newell Charles Judge Jr.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, with the Rev. Robert Brown, chaplain of 1st Battalion, 107th Field Artillery, New Castle, officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Suite 900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Condolences, photos and additional information are available at www.nationfuneralhome.com.

My precious Son, I enjoyed every day I got to spend with you! You were always quite a character and I have sooo many pictures of you that show that from the time you were just learning to walk even while you were in the National Guard. Love, love love u!!! I see your face every day on the pictures I have out of u. I miss you every single day, every single minute!!! I can not believe its 9 years already!!! You should be 31 and you would have been a Chiropracter already!! It makes me sooo very sad and sick that you didnt get to have a long life that I wanted for you! I´ll be sooo very happy the day I get to be with you again! My heart is broken until I can be with you again!

I will always, everyday, remember your smile, hugs, smell and kind compassionate nature. You are my only son, my youngest. I love you with all my heart and it will forever be broken as you were on that day.. I will never be ok. I wish I could have been with you when it happened and in life flight holding your hand as you passed. I´m great full for the nurse that did though. I wish I could have said goodbye. I sat at your gravesite today looking at pictures, talking to you thru all my tears. I was there at the exact time of the accident, then to where it happened looking at pictures of you from the parade. My prayer is that I will see you and be with you once again..forever
