Paul M. Scheers, 69, of Oakdale, died Saturday, January 27, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born April 24, 1948, in Sturgeon, a son of the late Marcel and Juliette Deleuze Scheers.
Mr. Scheers was a retired machinist with Hanco Ltd.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and helping people as a community handyman.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Zollars Scheers; two children, Jodi (Joseph) Murn of McDonald and Matthew Scheers of Clinton; four grandchildren, Emily and Elizabeth Murn and Abigail and Paul "P.J." Scheers; and four siblings, Carol (John) McFalls of Oakdale, Alan Scheers of Sturgeon, David Scheers of Virginia Beach and Barbara (John) Bee of Sturgeon.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday, January 30, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale, 724-693-2800.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.

I'll miss Paul's "good morning" when we would pass each other on the Panhandle trail in the morning. His little Yorkie dog was good company. Paul was a good guy. My sympathies to his family.
