Robert David Lash Jr.

Robert David Lash Jr., 95, of McDonald, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born September 8, 1929, in Venetia, a son of the late Robert and Clara Lash. Robert was a lath and drywall contractor and retired in 1992. Upon retirement, he became a full-time farmer. He enjoyed hunting, attending auctions, collecting Alles-Chalmers Tractors, and watching Westerns on television, especially John Wayne. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. On August 28, 1948, he married Allene Williams Lash, who passed away June 2, 2017. Surviving are two sons, David (Lisa) Lash, and Jeffrey (Terry) Lash; two daughters, Karen Lash and Patricia Ross; and many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Walter Lash; and a sister, Ruth Mounts. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 28, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, with Pastor Rich Narus officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
