To all who knew and loved Shirley: I know our world is a little less bright with her loss! I worked with Shirley at Ponderosa for almost 5 years- my first job! She taught me so much, not just about prep and doctoring up the food to make it much easier, but about responsibility, kindness, accountability dealing with aging parents, and most of all, friendship between generations. We kept in touch through the years, and that tapered off, until I happened upon her volunteering at the Gift Shop/canteen at the Health Center. I was so disappointed to read of her loss, but I know she is with the love of her life, and other beloved family members. Bless you all, and rejoice in her memories! Thank you for including an amazing photo of her glowing infectious smile!
