Shirley Lehman Obituary

Shirley M. Lehman, 85, of Mars, formerly of Burgettstown and St. Clair, passed away Saturday morning, January 2, 2021, at Valencia Woods Nursing Center.

Born in Appleton, Wis., April 20, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Al and Hazel Wagner Rehfeldt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel. Shirley was a graduate of Appleton High School.

Shirley took care of the family as they moved across the United States. Ultimately, she and her husband, Richard settled on a beautiful farm in Burgettstown. Here, she could be found tending to her garden and playing cards with friends and family. She thanked God for all that she had and attended church every Sunday as a devoted Catholic.

Her family thanks God for all the wonderful memories over the years.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.

She was the beloved wife of her high school sweetheart, Richard C. Lehman, whom she married June 16, 1956; beloved mother to two daughters, Deborah Tucker (Joseph) in Florida and Becky Stewart (John) in Virginia; two sons, Joseph Lehman of Mars and Jeffrey Lehman in West Alexander; and her grandchildren, Jeni and Ellen Hipple and Lori and Julia Lehman.

All services for Shirley will be private in the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Avenue, Mars. Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.
