Stephen Lee "Steve" Britton, 60, of Amity, formerly of Hubbard, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018, unexpectedly in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born October 31, 1957, in Hubbard, Ohio, a son of the late Quentin and Edith Swisher Britton.
Mr. Britton was employed by a steel manufacturing company. He enjoyed golfing, landscaping and automobiles.
His wife, Debra Cornell of Amity, survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Danielle Wylie of Girard, Ohio, and Evette (Mark) Besada of Beverly Hills, Calif.; a stepson, Steven Cornell of Amity; and grandchild Cody Wylie of Girard, Ohio. Several members of the Cornell and Britton families also survive.
In addition to his mother and father, Mr. Britton was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., the hour of a funeral service, Wednesday, January 10, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Burial will be private.

Steve was very well thought of in the Specialty Steel Industry, where he spent most of his career, by his customers and associates alike.
He was called home far too early. Deepest sympathies to the family.
