William Monroe Bryan Byers

William Monroe Bryan Byers, 65, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, in UPMC Washington. He was born June 16, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late Harold O. and Mary Newman Byers. William graduated from Trinity High School in 1977, after which he went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force until 1979. He worked at the Mayview State Hospital as a forensic security employee. William loved motorcycles, travel, camping, and watching sports. On February 1, 2006, he married Mary R. Claypod Byers, who survives. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by son, Benjamin Maynard; and daughter, Azliya Rose Deal. He was also predeceased by his brother, Harold Byers. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m, the hour of service, Sunday, May 11, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
