Yvonne Becka Obituary

Yvonne L. Mahoney Becka, 77, of Clover Hill, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on September 26, 1946, in Uniontown, to the late Wade and Sarah Crawford Mahoney. She was a member of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology and West Virginia Archeological Society. She worked for the United States Army Corp of Engineers as a Archeologist and as a Museum Curator for Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex. In addition, she was an accomplished Artist. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Paul J. Becka; two sons, Jeffrey Paul Becka and wife, Elizabeth A., and Ryan W. Becka and wife, Elizabeth C.; and sister, Diane Wallace. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, and from 12 to 1:30 p.m., on Monday. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park. www.skirpanfuneralhome.com
