Jeanne Goss Obituary
Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Jeanne M. Goss passed away peacefully on January 26, 2014 at the age of 76 in Humble, Texas. She was born July 18, 1937 in Mixon, Texas to Joseph and Claudine Mullican.
Jeanne was a graduate of Aldine High School class of 1955 and was a life long resident of the Humble area. She was employed at Northeast Medical Center Hospital from its inception and worked there for 25 years, retiring in 2002.
Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Vicki Goss Smith and husband Mack, Carol Goss Plaag and husband James; grandchildren, Jason Smith and wife Jennifer, Jonathan Smith, and Cameron Plaag; great-grandchildren, Micah and Makayla; and her long time friend and companion Robert Stehlik.
She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Mullican and wife Betty; sisters, Faelynn Gober and husband Sidney, Carla Rodgers and husband Wayne, and Linda Clark; sisters-in-law, Helen Smith, Pat Needham and husband Butch; brothers-in-law, Rodney Goss and wife June, Wilburn Burwell, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sherman L. Goss.
Jeanne was an incredibly hard working and warm hearted woman who was loved by many. She loved being on her patio enjoying the outdoors and the flowers in her garden. Kindness was her most wonderful attribute, she was sincere and kind-hearted to every person she encountered. Her happiest times were shared with loved ones during family gatherings. Above all else being with her family and friends brought her the greatest joy.
Service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, Texas. Interment followed at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas.
She will be greatly missed.

Jeanne was a beautiful person inside and out..We shared laughs, tears and love. Even tho I had moved from the area, she was always in my heart. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. May you feel the presence of the good Lord each day as you weep from sorrow and smile with memories. She was so loved and such a good friend!

Jeanne and I graduated from Aldine, class of 1955, together, and we have kept in contact every since, through School reunions, starting in 1975, through 2013. She was always smiling, or laughing, and so much fun to be with. She was never negative; always positive; and loved by all. I am so sorry for your loss, and praying for you all.
