HUSTED, FRED, 78
Ocala - Fred Husted, 78, of Ocala, FL, passed away September 20, 2011 at home. He was born June 30, 1933 in Valley Stream, Long Island. He moved to Middleburg, NY after graduating high school. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He married Margie Brainerd Husted on June 10, 1956 and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1971. He was employed by Seaboard Coastline R.R. and CSX R.R. until his retirement in 1997. He then obtained his electrical contractors license. His loves and hobbies were his family and home. He is survived by his wife Margie of 55 years; daughters, Diane Lewis of Seminole, FL, Becky Calabro of Nokomis, FL; son, Steven of Ocala, FL; grandsons, Corey and Cameron Nelson of Seminole, FL; sister, Margie of Hannacroix, NY; three brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law. A memorial service will be held at his home with family and friends. Cremation provided by Florida Cremation, Ocala.
