There is not a person who doesn't know how many hearts he has touched, helped, made laugh and lent a hand when one was needed. I have 20 years of cherished memories and thankful to know him. Very saddened for Mama Joanie and all who love him. Not a soul can say he didn't care. My last memory was him laying in the hospital a while back as I was visiting more worried about my well being then his own.. That is rare.. That is an honor and a memory I will cherish. ?

Joe was a life long friend who just loved everyone. He would always look for the good in folks and skim right over the bad in folks. He had a smile and a heart that would make everyone comfortable and happy. Folks so enjoyed his friendship and his light hearted attitudes. When he met his Joanie, his mission became to take good care of his wife and start a family. And thats just what he did. He was a man on a mission. Mr. and Mrs. Joel Laney, every year, would sponsor A Hog Cooking up in the Foot Hills of Tennessee. Joe would always drive up or fly up to see us, his old friends up in Memphis from The National Bank Of Commerce, and we would all hear his tales and stories that would entertain us so much at Mr. Laney's Hog Cooking. We just loved Mr. Joe Massey, he was like a brother to us. Joanie and Amber were Joe's flames, and one of those lights faded out when Amber passed away, but Joe carried on making the best of the just getting through their accident. Today are hearts and our thoughts are with the Family and the Friends of Joe Massey. We pray that God will be with you. We give thanks to God that you let us enjoy the friendship of Mr. Massey for as long as you did. Love you Joanie and your family and friends.
Most Respectfully,
The Rick Leigh Family
